The IFAC LA-WICE Meeting is a half-day event that will be held during the IEEE ICA ACCA Congress in Santiago de Chile on October 20, 2024.
The meeting is open to all women who are interested in control engineering, regardless of their affiliation with IFAC. The purpose of the meeting is to provide a platform for women in control engineering from across Latin America to connect, network, and share their experiences.
The meeting will feature a keynote speaker, panel discussions, and breakout sessions on various topics related to women in STEM, career development, and the future of control engineering.
The IFAC LA-WICE Meeting is important because it will help to promote diversity and inclusion in the field of control engineering. Women are underrepresented in STEM fields, and the LA-WICE Meeting will provide a supportive and welcoming environment for women to learn from each
other and be inspired by other successful women in the field.
